Enjoying the pool bar
One nice feature of our hotel is that we have a pool bar, swim up and all. Made up for the smell of sweat and urine in our room while we were sleeping, those carpets in there are downright nasty!!!!
Langkawi is not a bad island, pretty scenery, too much rain (of course we are in the rainy season) and a fantastic Italian restaurant with the first meal I have found downright delicious!!!

Sounds like you should spend the day in the pool, eat at the Italian restaurant, drink lots of wine and then spend the time in the room horizontal and unconscious..........Sarah, I'm going to a an eco/spa outside Mexico City (1 1/2 hrs) for some R&R, hiking to pyramids, yoga, etc. etc.and lots of alternative therapy for my final healing back to 100%.... from Nov. 10-21

Well don't feel to bad about the little local man swindling you. I got taken in by a "cop" at the LA airport, of course a "cop" is going to charge you $20 american to help you find your terminal. Or the little spanish gypsys have no idea how to get to the Pardo museum in Madrid and you the toursit on day 2 of your stay there are of course an expert in finding streets in the medievil part of Madrid!
Sarah hopefully there is no vomit smells in any of your future rooms! ;)

Sounds like you guys are having a great time so far! I'm enjoying reading about your adventures and am checking this thing almost daily, keep 'em coming.
