Our Beach and our Bungalow

Not much new to report other than last night we heard the strangest sound that I am unsure if it is a bug, animal, or bird, and I hope to find out what it is soon, unless of course, it is a giant bug. It's bad enough we have cockroaches living in our walls!! Oh well, I can deal with that seeing as we are steps away from a great beach and a restaurant with incredible fruit shakes!

Hi Sarah and Rob/Bob!!The bungalows look great....and I guess little bugs and such are just typical for the area. Part of the charm????!!! During the years when dad and I lived in Kuwait, I remember ferreting out the roaches by putting a plate of food on the floor and just waiting with the giant flyswatter....well okay, dad not me!!! You are discovering amazing spots, that one can only find doing what you kids have done, ie. travelling via, ferries, vans and whatever other kind of transport. Hard to just fly into a place and find the kind of remote and beautiful places and beaches ....you are getting to know Thailand and not just as a typical tourist. Enjoy, love mom
Hola de Mexico....,Hi guys..... actually we put food out on a plate on the bedroom floor and I lay on the bed with a shoe. Large cochroached are impervious to a flyswatter....probably feel like a massage to them. Even a shot with a shoe takes a direct hit and a full backswing.........have fun living the ¨Rousseau¨life style.....NZ will be fun and exciting and soon and very different....Love Dad
